February: The Month of Celebration.

After conducting some minor research on the Internet, we've found that every day in February is a celebration of something! We all know about Groundhogs Day on February 2 and Valentine's Day on February 14 but do you know about "Hoodie Hoo Day" on February 20? Do you celebrate "Do A Grouch a Favor Day" on February 16 which happens to be the day before "Random Acts of Kindness Day" on the 17th? February is also the month to celebrate chocolate! On February 9, 1894, Hersey's decided to make chocolate. Thank goodness, Mr. Hersey wasn't celebrating "No Brainer Day!!"

As for the visitors bureau, we'll stick to celebrating the nationally-recognized holidays in February. To recognize Saint Valentine, a true romantic at heart, honor your spouse with a special overnight package from the Inn at Versailles, called what else, "The Sweetheart Package." Enjoy deluxe accommodations, fine dining and the little extras (chocolate, wine, roses) that will make your time together unforgettable.
