Tourism Grant Program

TOURISM GRANT

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM.

The Darke County Visitors Bureau’s Tourism Grants Program is designed to encourage creation or expansion of tourism-related initiatives. Funds are available to non-profit tourism attractions and non-profit organizations sponsoring special events and programs that impact Darke County. The DCVB Tourism Grant Program allows the DCVB and volunteer grant committee members from the Darke County community to equally evaluate applications from organizations seeking funding for tourism-related initiatives.

Initiatives should increase visitation and/or exposure of Darke County as a destination through promotional efforts. Initiatives must help enhance Darke County’s image as a distinctive destination to visitors.

Four grants will be awarded: Two (2) $1,000 grants for events with budgets above $5,000, and two (2) $500 grants for events with budgets below $5,000. Organizations with budgets below $5,000 have the option to apply for the $1,000 grant if they wish to do so. Each event will only be eligible for one grant award.
